We are looking for a Medical Billing Manager who will be responsible for directing and coordinating the overall functions of the medical billing and coding office to ensure maximization of cash flow while improving patient, physician, and other customer relations. MSJ is expanding its operations, and is looking for Billing and Coding Specialists to be part of a new department. The Billing and Coding Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and coding medical record documentation to include office visits, procedures, and surgeries for the different multi-specialties within the practice. The Specialist is also responsible for reviewing and allocating the appropriate payments per payor contracts, making necessary adjustments to patient accounts, follow-up on outstanding insurance claims and submitting appeals as needed.
