Dr. Scott Anderson is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine, focusing on preservation and reconstruction of the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow. He uses nonoperative, arthroscopic, minimally-invasive and open techniques to improve his patients’ function and return them to activities they love.

He graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BS in Human Biology and a minor in Psychology. He graduated from medical school as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society from the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

Dr. Anderson completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Loma Linda University in Southern California. He then went to the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic to complete his sports medicine fellowship, where he was part of the medical staff for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Sparks, Anaheim Ducks, USC Trojan Football and local junior colleges and high schools. He now serves as the athletic team physician for CSU Monterey Bay and Hartnell College.

He is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care. He has particular clinical interests in treating knee ligament, meniscus, and cartilage injuries; rotator cuff injuries; shoulder instability and labrum tears.

In Dr. Anderson’s spare time he enjoys being with his wife and three children in the outdoors, hiking, biking and surfing.
